When all the assessment steps have been taken on a Case and the status is “Completed”, the final PDF report for the case is created and the case can be closed. A Closed case is a case that requires no further action to be undertaken on Skin Analytics platforms. Closed cases will automatically be moved to the “All” tab of the Case list.
CAUTION: You must not close a case on the Skin Analytics platform, unless you have been authorised to do so by the Admin & Clinical leads of your local service. Closing a case prematurely, or without permission, may delay patient care or cause incomplete follow-up. If you do go to view a case and you are not authorised to close cases, please do not click the ‘Close case’ button (as indicated on the image below). Instead, navigate back to the homepage by clicking on ‘Cases’ in the top left-hand corner of the webpage.

If authorised to close cases, find a Case in the “Completed” status by browsing the Case list (“To Close” tab).

You can download a report by clicking on the three dots at the side of the row, and selecting “Download Report”. This will download a PDF report of the case. Ensure the PDF report is uploaded to the corresponding patient’s electronic health record.

Once you are satisfied that no further action needs to happen in Skin Analytics’ system, click on “Close Case”.

A pop-up will appear notifying the User of the action taken. Clicking on "Close" will Close the case.

A closed case will be available in the “All” tab of the Case list.
